Broken

She said to him, "You said I could tell you anything but sometimes I am afraid to because I don't want you to think I am too broken to be loved."

He replied, "Not at all. Look at the Venus de Milo. Her arms are missing and she's considered one of the most beautiful statues ever made."

That made her smile. He always made her feel special and beautiful.

He took another sip of his coffee and added, "Not to be confused with the Spinal Tap album 'Intravenous de Milo'  which is ugly no matter how you  slice it."

Then he leaned across the table and kissed her like she had never been kissed before.
